Why the number 9?

Everyone knows that the no.9 is our special number. We use it all the time. So why that number? Well it's simple, there are 8 planets in our solar system, which would make Planet Brooklyn Academy the 9th.

PBA has actually been around longer than you think.

Many believed the brand was first started in 2013, when we first opened our store. The fact is Planet Brooklyn was first launched in 1997. We were carried in a store called "Odyssey" located in the village in downtown Manhattan.

What is an "Ambigram?

Our signature backwards capital "P" and lowercase "b" that makes up our logo is what you call an Ambigram. Which is something that looks or reads the same when turned upside down. You learn something new every day!
